Dr Bernabeu, speaker at a symposium on follitropin delta at ESHRE 2024

Dr Andrea Bernabeu, medical codirector of the Instituto Bernabeu Group, will be one of the expert speakers at the closing session organised by Ferring Pharmaceuticals during the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) 2024 annual congress, to be held in Amsterdam from 7 to 10 July.

Dr Bernabeu will close these lectures with an overview of the follitropin delta use evolution over the last ten years, as well as the future challenges presented by the application of this hormone in ovarian stimulation. This hormonal drug is indicated for women undergoing assisted reproduction techniques and its main function is to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple follicles in order to increase the chances of successful treatment.

In her presentation, she will discuss the two randomised clinical trials currently underway with follitropin delta. One of these is being conducted in Europe, where Dr Bernabeu herself is the scientific coordinator of the study, while the other is being conducted in China.
