Why is it important to have one’s own laboratories for PGS/PGT-A/CCS?

PGS/PGT-A/CCS is a complex technique that requires highly specialised personnel in micromanipulation techniques and preimplantation genetic diagnosis working together to provide comprehensive chromosomal diagnosis of embryos in the shortest time possible. Having both types of professionals allows us to coordinate the whole process to perform the transfer of a healthy embryo over a single cycle, freshly, without the need to cryopreserve and transfer in a later cycle. In addition, a better conservation of samples is ensured this way, since no transportation over long distances to an external laboratory is needed to analyse them without damage.
