Success rate statistics for assisted reproduction treatments
Our statistics are certified and audited: after three treatments, 96% result in viable pregnancy. The success of our work is the satisfaction of our patients.
We are committed to caring for the health of the mother and the foetus and transfer an average of 1.2 top quality embryos. This gives us high performance rates with low percentages of multiple births and a total absence of triplet pregnancies.
When interpreting our statistics, it is important to take into account that we are a reference centre for patients who have previously gone through an average of 2.5 failed courses of treatment in other centres, are of advanced age,
poor ovarian reserves; severe male factors; frequently, couples who have been rejected due to uncertain prognoses and have been trying to get pregnant for a long time. These factors influence the results.
We wish to remind you that the statistics cover overall data and that they should not be extrapolated to any one particular case. It is important to keep in mind that it’s essential to always establish an individualised prognosis.
The aim is NOT to get achieve a positive pregnancy test. It is the birth of a healthy child that is not premature and is born following a satisfactory and complication-free pregnancy.
Statistics in Instituto Bernabeu, 2023.
The cumulative pregnancy rate refers to pregnancies achieved following the egg retrieval/collection procedure. This includes transfer of fresh embryos and a possible transfer of frozen embryos.
