March, 9th 2015
The event brought together more than 1,200 people who enjoyed the evening at ADDA
On the occasion of the commemoration of International Women’s Day, the Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation organized, once again, a lyric recital with compositions related to women and maternity. The cultural event featured the opera soprano María Miró accompanied by the pianist Eugenia Gassull and was the meeting place for more than 1,200 attendees who enjoyed a musical evening at the Alicante Provincial Auditorium Symphony Hall, ADDA.
The ceremony began with a speech by Dr. Rafael Bernabeu, Instituto Bernabeu and Foundation Director, who thanked the patients of the Institution for the confidence they place in it, which is really important for the Foundation to carry out this kind of social, cultural and training events. His speech was especially critical to remember the current situation of women throughout the world, where great injustices are committed and violent acts are resurfacing.
The Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation has organized several events since 2005 to commemorate International Women´s Day. Among its objectives, it aims to help people with low income to be able to access assisted reproduction treatments, academic scholarships, training courses, collaboration agreements with academic and medical institutions, as well as biomedical research.
