On 13 March, Dr. Belén Moliner, gynaecologist and coordinator of the Endometriosis and Ultrasound Unit at Instituto Bernabeu, took part in the symposium ‘Time for Pregnancy’ held at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital. During her speech, she highlighted the importance of aspects that are not often considered in ultrasound scans and which can influence pregnancy rates.
Among the topics discussed were 3D ultrasound scans, uterine contractility and how Instituto Bernabeu integrates the most advanced technologies to optimise diagnosis and personalise treatments.
Dr. Moliner highlighted how 3D ultrasound allows the detection of details that may go unnoticed in conventional scans, such as anomalies in the uterine cavity or alterations in the contractility of the uterus, factors that can influence embryo implantation. She also explained that Instituto Bernabeu is committed to a multidisciplinary approach to fertility studies, combining cutting-edge technology with a personalised analysis of each patient to optimise their chances of successful treatment.
