Scientific research projects done by the IB group selected for “ASEBIR”

The Sixth Conference of the Biology of Reproduction Study Association (ASEBIR) will take place this week in Girona from October 5th to 7th.

The clinical and scientific aspects related to human embryology and andrology will be discussed during this biannual meeting.

The Instituto Bernabeu Biology of Reproduction Department will participate with several selected presentations. The accepted projects will deal with highly interesting topics in the clinical practice, such as embryo selection based on the time of transfer, the division rate of embryos in patients with repeated implantation failure and ovarian stimulation through the latest generation medicine, such as Elonva. Other research projects will also be presented, which were developed in collaboration with the University of Alicante and show how cannabinoid receptors (the active components of marihuana) behave and affect human sperm cells. IB BIOTECH will also participate in this conference by contributing research projects about the latest advances in preimplantation genetic diagnosis and the genetic origin of alterations in semen quality.
