The Rafael Bernabeu Foundation announces its new edition of scholarships for Medicine, Biology, Nursing, Pharmacy and Biotechnology students.

The foundation will allocate 45,000 euros for these scholarships, which are intended to help the training of outstanding students with financial difficulties.

The Rafael Bernabeu Foundation, Instituto Bernabeu’s Social Work, has announced the scholarships for students of Medicine, Biology, Nursing, Pharmacy and Biotechnology 8th edition, endowed with 45,000 euros.

This Rafael Bernabeu Foundation initiative aims to help students who have a good academic performance, but economic difficulties that make it impossible or difficult for them to attend university in Spain.

For this new call of applications, 6 grants will be awarded to Medicine students, 3 to Biology students, 3 to Biotechnology students, 3 to Nursing students and 3 to Pharmacy students. Each scholarship student will receive 2,500 euros for the payment of the registration fee and the purchase of material related to their studies.

‘Since our origins as a Foundation, we have dedicated our efforts to fostering talent and promoting training. Supporting education is an investment in the future of our society,’ says the Foundation’s president, Sómnica Bernabeu.

Application deadline

Applications can be submitted until 31 July 2024 via the application form on the institution’s website, https://www.fundacionrafaelbernabeu.com/formacion/, where all the required documentation must be attached. One of the main requirements to apply for the Rafael Bernabeu Foundation scholarships is to have passed all the subjects for the 2022/2023 academic year in June.

Jury’s decision will be announced on September 12. Each of the selected scholarship recipients will be informed individually, as well as on the Foundation’s social networks and website. The scholarship will be awarded at the official award ceremony to be held on September 26 in the Assembly Hall of Instituto Bernabeu in Alicante.
