Tribute of the University of Alicante and FUNDEUN to Dr. Rafael Bernabeu

As part of the closing ceremony of the academic year 2023/24, in a solemn act conducted by Juan Llopis and attended by regional, local and university authorities, the University of Alicante, FUNDEUN and ‘El Club de las Buenas Decisiones’ (The Good Choices Club) posthumously honoured Dr. Rafael Bernabeu for his outstanding professional, human and academic career.

A moving recognition received by his daughters and in which his commitment not only to his patients and science, but also in the field of university education was praised.

Professor, founder of two university chairs and promoter of the Master’s Degree in Reproductive Medicine, which this year celebrates its 13th edition. Through his Foundation, he has financially supported training courses and scholarships for students with brilliant records who have difficulties in pursuing their university studies. His professional career has always been linked to continuing education and the promotion of the advancement of medical science.
