Coronavirus resistence on a variety of surfaces

It has been recently confirmed that the coronavirus can remain active even for several days depending on the surfaces on which it is found. This proves that it is not only caught when airborne, where it remains for 3 hours, but there are also other ways of propagation via contact with objects on which it has landed.

Depending on the material, Covid19 can remain active for up to 4 days when it is on plastic or wood, 8 hours on aluminum or latex materials such as surgical gloves, 5 days on paper or plastic, and 2 days on metals such as steel. Although it can vary depending on the temperature; in cold environments it is more resistant and faced with heat it seems to weaken earlier.

Consequently, to avoid contracting the disease, in addition to the recommendations that have been made, keep quarantine, cough into your elbow instead of hand, do not touch your nose, mouth or eyes, wash your hands frequently, keep distance from other people and avoid contact with infected people, you should clean objects that are frequently touched (bleach and alcohol are good disinfectants), take off shoes before entering the house, wash the clothes with which they are you have been outdoors and if possible, use disposable gloves.
