Latest publication in the “British Medical Journal” about uterine arteriovenous malformation

This new publication in this prestigious British magazine, gather the research work about uterine areteriovenous malformation, that this time has led Dr Sellers, Head of the High Risk Pregnancy Unit.

The article published last February, presented a clinical case of Uterine Arteriovenous Malformation. This is a very rare pathology with very few index cases in the scientific literature. It is an illness very difficult to diagnose, but has important consequences for the patient if she doesn´t received the correct treatment.

In this article, the case is commented and shown with an ultrasound image. The most common forms of presentation are expose, the examination methods and the correct treatment, providing new points of view about possible causes and alternatives for its treatment.
