Elisa Álvarez

Elisa Álvarez Socias holds a degree in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2013). Her work in the field of clinical embryology began in 2012, whilst she was a student.

In 2016, she completed a University of Valencia Master’s Course in Assisted Reproduction Biotechnology and, the following year, she was awarded the ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) title of Clinical Embryologist.

Elisa completed her training and a significant part of her professional career in the United Kingdom. She currently works as a biologist in the Department of Reproductive Biology at Instituto Bernabeu in Palma.

She is a member of the Professional Association of Biologists of the Balearic Islands (Cobib) and a member of the Association for the Study of Human Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR) and ESHRE.
