Doctors Andrea Bernabeu and Belén Moliner participated in the Vall d’Hebron Hospital symposium about embryo implantation failure.

The Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona has invited Dr Andrea Bernabeu and Dr Belén Moliner, from Instituto Bernabeu, as speakers at the symposium “Recurrent implantation failure: how to improve your pregnancy rates”.

Dr Andrea Bernabeu, medical codirector of the Instituto Bernabeu Group, gave a presentation on chronic endometritis in which she discussed the precise diagnosis of this condition, as well as its possible consequences and the treatment options available. Dr Moliner, head of the Endometriosis and High-Resolution Ultrasound Unit in Reproductive Medicine at Instituto Bernabeu, focused her presentation on the diagnosis of uterine factor. Among other things, she delved into the significant contributions of 2D and 3D ultrasound in this context, and gave an in-depth insight into the assessment of the uterus, endometrium and T-uterus. Both presentations provided a comprehensive perspective on how to address uterine factor challenges to improve pregnancy rates.

The symposium, which brought together health professionals and specialists in different fields of assisted reproduction, took place over a full day in which various working sessions were structured under the coordination of Dr Julio Herrero, head of the Assisted Reproduction, Gynaecology and Endocrinology Department at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital.
