The Rafael Bernabeu Foundation has launched the edition of its €45,000 university student scholarship programme.

The Rafael Bernabeu Foundation, Instituto Bernabeu’s welfare programme, has opened the 2019 scholarships application period for Medicine, Nursing, Biology and Biotechnology students at universities throughout Spain. The slogan for the edition is ‘We will help you so that you can help others’ and the reproductive medicine clinic’s welfare programme has assigned a total of €45,000 to helping university students who have excellent academic results but whose low family incomes are an obstacle in continuing with their studies. Each scholarship is worth €2,500 and the money can be used to cover registration fees and course material.

This is the fifth edition of the programme. The Rafael Bernabeu Foundation will grant 6 scholarships to students studying Medicine, 4 to Biology students, 4 to Biotechnology students and an additional 4 to Nursing students. 

The deadline for delivery of applications is next August 30. The jury’s decision will be on September 27 and the awarding of the scholarships is scheduled for October 24.

In order to be eligible to apply, students must have registered for all classes and have passed all the 2018/2019 school year exams in June.
