Ana Pay

Ana Pay García, graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Murcia (2017).

During her training, she carried out internships in the Immunology Service of the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, as well as in the Reproduction Unit of that same hospital.

In 2019, she studied the Master’s Degree in Biology and Reproductive Technology at the University of Murcia and carried out her Master’s internship at Instituto Bernabeu, getting experience in different departments.  

After completing her master’s degree, she joined the research team of the Department of Gametogenesis, Fertilisation and Early Embryonic Development at the Instituto Murciano de Investigación Biosanitaria (IMIB).

In 2021, she joined Instituto Bernabeu, where she continues working at IB Biotech, carrying out her tasks both in the semen bank and in molecular biology and genetics.

Along her professional career, she has contributed to various communications at national and international conferences on molecular biology and reproduction.

Her current research focuses on the identification of genetic variants associated with male factor.
