Dr. Óscar Legido

Dr. Óscar Legido has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Albacete, University of Castilla-La Mancha (2011-2017), and is a specialist in Urology; he also holds a Master’s Degree in Research and Clinical Medicine from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and is a University Expert in Urolithiasis from the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) Madrid. Currently, he is studying a Master of Continuing Education in Urology at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and another in Clinical Genetics and Human Reproduction at the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz (EUNEIZ), and is doing his PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Castilla-La Mancha with a thesis on the impact of androgen blockade on muscle mass and physical function in elderly people with prostate cancer. Dr. Legido is an active member of the Spanish Urology Association (AEU) and the Castile-La Mancha Urology Association, collaborates as a lecturer in the Nephrourological Pathologies subject of the medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of Albacete, has published 10 articles as first author and collaborator in urology journals of national and international impact, and has presented numerous oral communications and posters at national and international congresses of the speciality.
