Instituto Bernabeu becomes the first assisted reproduction centre in the country to adhere to the Digital Pact for the Protection of People

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) has recognised Instituto Bernabeu as a “Member Entity of the Digital Pact for the Protection of People”. This makes us the first assisted reproduction centre in Spain to adhere to the Digital Pact as a healthcare organisation specialised in fertility.

“By doing so, we pledge to support the values and commitments of this Digital Pact, facilitating innovation and contributing to guaranteeing the necessary civic coexistence in the digital space,” highlights Instituto Bernabeu Process Analysis and Quality Director Elena García Llopis.

Instituto Bernabeu is committed to implementing the principles and recommendations of the Digital Pact and to disseminating the Priority Channel among its staff and users, for requesting the urgent removal of sexual and violent content on the internet, among other actions.

It is a commitment to patients and the Instituto Bernabeu team on the fundamental right to protection of their data and privacy, through a responsible and ethical use of technology. Instituto Bernabeu takes on these commitments in support of protection of personal data and privacy, innovation and sustainability, promoting initiatives which achieve this, something which already forms part of the DNA of the clinic.
