Alba Cascales

Alba Cascales Hernández has a Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Murcia (2017).

As part of her professional training, she has done internships in the molecular biology laboratories at the University of Murcia Scientific Park, as well as different courses in human embryology and forensic genetics.

In 2018, she is attending the sixth edition of the Master´s Degree in Reproductive Medicine organised by Instituto Bernabeu in collaboration with the University of Alicante.  That same year, she joined IB Biotech group, where she works in  molecular biology and genetics.

In 2020, he obtained the title of University Expert in Medical Genetics and Genomics from the Catholic University of San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM).

During her career, she has published several scientific papers in the area of molecular biology and reproductive genetics. In addition, she has contributed various papers to national and international congresses.

Currently, her research activity is focused on the study of the relationship between the microbiome and male and female infertility.
