Instituto Bernabeu Albacete welcomes Pharmacy students from the University of Castilla-La Mancha

The students of the Reproductive Health subject had the opportunity to see first-hand the work the professionals at Instituto Bernabeu Albacete carry out on a daily basis.

Last Tuesday 26th of November, we received at Instituto Bernabeu Albacete the students of the Reproductive Health subject, corresponding to the fifth year of the Pharmacy degree of the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM).

The students visited our facilities to learn about the daily work we carry out in the field of reproductive medicine. In the morning, in small groups of 6 people, they had the opportunity to explore our laboratory and consultation areas, and to learn more about our sperm and oocyte donation programme.

During the tour, students were guided in groups of six through the various areas of work. The clinic’s professionals shared their experiences, detailed the types of patients they work with and provided detailed information about the processes and procedures involved in assisted reproduction.

This initiative reinforces the IB Group’s commitment to scientific dissemination and the training of the clinical professionals of the future. In the words of the students themselves: ‘This kind of initiative helps us as students to consider the possibility of looking at this area as a possible career path, where our work could be key to helping those who wish to start a family.’
