October has started full of interesting specialised meetings where our medical team has had the opportunity to participate and share their experience and knowledge in different areas related to reproductive medicine.

Dr Cristina García Ajofrín, gynaecologist specialising in reproductive medicine at Instituto Bernabeu Madrid, took part in the innovative meeting ‘Discover the Future with Ferring’. This event, organised by the pharmaceutical company Ferring, brought together experts from this area to discuss the latest trends in medical technology and its application in patient care.

During the meeting, Dr Cristina García Ajofrín and other healthcare professionals explored how new digital tools can transform medical practice, enabling more personalised and efficient care. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest advances in areas such as data analytics and artificial intelligence, always focused on providing even better patient care.

Dr Giulia Bertapelle, gynaecologist specialising in reproductive medicine at Instituto Bernabeu Venice, participated as a speaker, together with experts in psychology and fertility, in a specialised meeting that addressed the emotional and medical complexities faced by couples who wish to have children but are unable to do so naturally.

As part of AISPA’s sexual health week, the well-attended meeting offered valuable tools and knowledge for those undergoing assisted reproduction. Attendees emphasised the importance of a multidisciplinary approach encompassing both the medical and psychological aspects of fertility.
